# ✦ ─ PvP & Player Safety

PvP on Coppercore is only allowed when everyone involved has clearly agreed to it.

Players must not be attacked, trapped, tricked, or placed in danger without their consent.

***

### PvP Requires Consent

Do not attack another player unless they have clearly agreed to PvP.

Consent must be:

* given freely
* clear to everyone involved
* given before the fight begins
* able to be withdrawn at any time

Standing near someone, entering their claim, joking about fighting, or having PvP enabled does not automatically count as consent.

***

### Ending a Fight

If a player says to stop, leaves the agreed area, or otherwise withdraws consent, the fight must end.

Do not:

* chase them after the fight has ended
* repeatedly kill them
* camp their home, death location, or teleport point
* continue attacking after they ask you to stop
* pressure them into continuing

***

### Killing Without Consent

Killing another player without consent is not allowed, even when:

* they are carrying valuable items
* they entered your claim
* they annoyed or insulted you
* they previously fought you
* you believe it was “just a joke”
* keepInventory is enabled

Use a support ticket or staff assistance rather than taking matters into your own hands.

***

### Teleport and Portal Traps

Do not use teleport requests, homes, warps, portals, elevators, or similar systems to trap or kill players.

This includes:

* sending a teleport request with the intention of attacking them
* teleporting someone into lava, fire, the void, mobs, or a fall
* blocking a Nether portal so a player cannot escape
* creating suffocation or enclosed teleport points
* misleading someone about where a teleport leads

***

### Luring Players Into Danger

Do not deliberately trick players into dangerous situations.

Examples include:

* offering fake help to lead someone into a trap
* lying about an area being safe
* leading hostile mobs into another player’s base
* convincing someone to remove armour before attacking them
* directing a player into lava, the void, or a dangerous fall
* pretending a fight is staff-approved when it is not.

***

### Trapping and Imprisoning Players

Do not trap, cage, bury, block in, or otherwise prevent another player from leaving an area.

This applies even when no direct damage is caused.

Do not:

* surround a player with blocks
* block their doors, portals, or pathways
* repeatedly obstruct their movement
* trap them using boats, minecarts, animals, or entities

***

### Player Safety Outside Minecraft

Do not share or threaten to share another person’s private information.

This includes:

* real names
* addresses
* phone numbers
* age
* schools or workplaces
* private photographs
* account details
* IP addresses
* other identifying information.

Doxxing, swatting threats, account theft, or attempts to track another player are treated extremely seriously.

***

### Reporting Unwanted PvP or Trapping

Do not retaliate.

Instead:

1. move somewhere safe if possible
2. record or screenshot what happened
3. note the player’s username and location
4. open a support ticket
5. allow staff to investigate.

**Important:** PvP being toggled on does not mean every player has consented to fight.
