# ✦ ─ Cheating, Hacking & Exploits

Coppercore is meant to be fair for everyone. Any client, mod, exploit, automation, or outside tool that gives an unfair advantage is not allowed.

When in doubt, ask staff before using it.

***

### Hacked Clients

Hacked or modified clients designed to provide unfair advantages are prohibited.

This includes features such as:

* flight
* speed or movement hacks
* reach
* kill aura
* auto-aim
* anti-knockback
* freecam used to find players, bases, or resources
* inventory movement
* scaffold
* no-fall
* automated combat
* bypassing server restrictions

Admittance of usage of a hacked client will also result in punishment, even if no hacks are used.

***

### X-Ray and Resource Finding

X-ray of any kind is not allowed.

This includes:

* X-ray texture packs
* client-side X-ray mods
* cave-finder or ore-finder features
* seed crackers
* exploiting rendering bugs to see through terrain
* baritone mod

Do not use external tools to locate another player’s base, storage, claims, or hidden builds.

***

### Macros, Auto-Clickers and Automation

Macros, scripts, auto-clickers, and similar tools are not allowed when they automate gameplay or provide an unfair advantage.

Examples include:

* automated combat
* automatic mining, farming, or fishing
* repeating commands without player input
* AFK movement scripts
* automatic item use
* scripted shop interactions

Simple accessibility tools may be considered case-by-case. Ask staff before using anything that performs repeated actions for you.

***

### Exploits and Bugs

Do not knowingly abuse bugs, glitches, or unintended behaviour.

This includes:

* item duplication
* money or reward duplication
* bypassing cooldowns
* repeatedly claiming rewards
* bypassing permissions
* forcing protected areas to break
* abusing plugin errors
* crashing or lagging the server
* accessing menus, inventories, or commands you should not have

If you discover an exploit, stop using it and report it privately through a ticket.

***

### Sharing Exploits

Do not:

* teach others how to abuse an exploit
* post exploit instructions publicly
* demonstrate it to other players
* sell or distribute duplicated items
* hide exploit abuse from staff

Reporting an issue responsibly will not get you punished for discovering it. Continuing to use or spread it may.

***

### Account and Network Evasion

Do not use VPNs, proxies, alternate accounts, or other methods to bypass:

* bans
* mutes
* account limits
* login restrictions
* staff investigations

Trying to hide your identity or connection may be treated as punishment evasion.

***

### Modified Clients and Mods

Some client-side mods are allowed, while others are restricted or prohibited.

Check the [**Allowed & Disallowed Mods**](/coppercore-wiki/rules/cheating-hacking-and-exploits/allowed-and-disallowed-mods.md) page before using anything that changes gameplay, movement, combat, automation, rendering, or information available to you.

***

### Staff Discretion

Not every cheat, exploit, or unfair tool can be listed individually.

Staff may act against any software or behaviour that provides a clear advantage, bypasses server systems, or damages the experience for others.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** “I was only testing it” is not a valid excuse unless staff clearly approved the test beforehand.
