# ✦ ── Ranks & Perks

Coppercore has two main player rank systems:

* **Vote Ranks**, earned through voting for the server
* **Paid Ranks**, permanent optional ranks purchased through the Coppercore Store

These two systems exist **alongside each other**.

You do not have to choose between a Vote Rank and a Paid Rank. A player can progress through the Vote Ranks while also owning any Paid Rank, receiving the applicable perks from both.

***

### Vote Ranks

Vote Ranks are earned entirely through voting for Coppercore.

As your total number of votes increases, you progress through:

**Copper → Bronze → Brass → Alloy → Forge → Ember → Gilded → Titanium → Eternal → Paragon**

Each rank unlocks additional perks as a reward for continuing to support the server through voting.

Vote Rank perks include things such as:

* Additional commands
* More PlayerVaults
* Extra Jobs slots
* Utility features
* Building conveniences
* Higher-tier quality-of-life perks
* `/fly` at **Paragon**

Vote Ranks cannot be purchased.

See the **Vote Ranks** guide for every rank, requirement and perk.

***

### Paid Ranks

Paid Ranks are optional permanent ranks available through the **Coppercore Store**.

There are four:

**Rune → Relic → Mythic → Ascendant**

Each rank inherits the perks of the ranks below it and adds additional conveniences.

Paid Rank perks include things such as:

* Additional Homes
* Additional PlayerWarps
* Additional PlayerVaults
* Nickname customisation
* Portable utility commands
* `/feed` and `/heal` with rank-specific cooldowns
* `/fix`
* `/fly`
* Additional building and crafting utilities

Paid Ranks are **one-time permanent purchases**, not subscriptions.

See the **Paid Ranks** guide for the full perk breakdown.

### Vote Ranks & Paid Ranks Work Together

Vote Ranks and Paid Ranks are separate progression systems.

For example, a player could simultaneously be:

**Paragon + Ascendant**

That player receives the applicable perks from both Paragon and Ascendant.

Buying a Paid Rank does not replace or reset your Vote Rank, and progressing through Vote Ranks does not remove your Paid Rank.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** You never need to stop voting because you own a Paid Rank. Vote Rank progression remains available to everyone.
{% endhint %}

***

### When Perks Overlap

Sometimes both rank systems provide access to the same feature.

How these perks interact depends on the feature.

#### Commands

If either of your ranks gives you access to a command, you can use that command.

If a command has different cooldowns depending on rank, the **best applicable cooldown** is used.

#### Storage & Limits

Some numerical allowances do **not** add together.

For example, PlayerVault allowances use whichever of your ranks provides the higher limit.

If you have:

**Paragon - 5 PlayerVaults**

and:

**Ascendant - 20 PlayerVaults**

you have **20 PlayerVaults**, not 25.

Other limits are explained individually in the Vote Rank and Paid Rank guides.

***

### Rank Inheritance

Ranks progress upward within their own system.

A higher rank includes the relevant permissions and perks from the ranks beneath it.

For example:

**Mythic** inherits the perks of **Relic** and **Rune**.

Likewise, a higher Vote Rank retains perks unlocked at earlier Vote Rank milestones.

This means you do not lose earlier perks when progressing.

***

### Rank Commands

Many rank perks unlock commands which are otherwise unavailable or have more limited access.

Depending on your ranks, these can include commands for:

* Crafting
* Player utilities
* Healing and hunger
* Item repair
* Flight
* Personal time and weather
* Nicknames
* Item naming
* Portable crafting stations and building utilities

The individual rank pages list the exact commands available at each milestone rather than requiring you to guess which rank provides what.

***

### Rank Limits

Some ranks increase the number of features you can create or access.

These include systems such as:

* Homes
* PlayerWarps
* PlayerVaults

The exact allowances are listed on the relevant rank pages.

Where two rank systems both affect the same limit, the guide will explain whether the limits stack or whether the higher allowance applies.

***

### Paid Ranks Are Optional

Paid Ranks exist as an optional way to support Coppercore while receiving additional convenience features.

They are not required to access the server or progress through normal gameplay.

Players can still earn Vote Ranks, participate in the economy, use server systems, obtain rewards and play normally without purchasing a rank.
