# ✦ ── Player Vaults

**PlayerVaults** provide additional personal storage which can be accessed from almost anywhere through a simple command.

Each vault acts as its own separate storage inventory, making them useful for keeping valuable items, building supplies, tools or anything else you don't want filling up your normal inventory and Ender Chest.

### Opening a Vault

To open one of your available vaults, use:

`/pv <number>`

For example:

`/pv 1`

opens your first vault.

`/pv 5`

opens your fifth vault.

You can access any vault number available to your current rank.

### How Many Vaults Do I Have?

PlayerVault access is provided through both **Vote Ranks** and **Paid Ranks**.

#### Vote Ranks

| Vote Rank    | PlayerVaults |
| ------------ | ------------ |
| Copper       | 0            |
| **Bronze**   | **1**        |
| Brass        | 1            |
| **Alloy**    | **2**        |
| Forge        | 2            |
| **Ember**    | **3**        |
| Gilded       | 3            |
| **Titanium** | **4**        |
| Eternal      | 4            |
| **Paragon**  | **5**        |

Vault access increases at selected Vote Rank milestones and is inherited by the ranks above them.

#### Paid Ranks

| Paid Rank     | PlayerVaults |
| ------------- | ------------ |
| **Rune**      | **5**        |
| **Relic**     | **10**       |
| **Mythic**    | **15**       |
| **Ascendant** | **20**       |

Higher Paid Ranks inherit the vault access from the ranks below them.

### Vote Ranks & Paid Ranks

Vote Rank and Paid Rank vault allowances **do not add together**.

Instead, your highest available vault allowance is used.

For example:

* **Bronze** gives 1 vault
* **Paragon** gives 5 vaults
* **Rune** gives 5 vaults
* **Relic** gives 10 vaults
* **Ascendant + Paragon** still gives 20 vaults, not 25

This means having both a Vote Rank and a Paid Rank will never reduce your access, but the two allowances are not combined.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Think of it as whichever of your ranks gives you the most vaults.
{% endhint %}

### Using Your Vaults

PlayerVaults work similarly to ordinary inventory storage.

Open the vault you want, place or remove your items, then close the inventory when you're finished.

Because every vault has its own number, you can organise them however you like.

For example:

* Vault 1 for tools
* Vault 2 for valuable items
* Vault 3 for building materials
* Vault 4 for mob drops
* Vault 5 for the mysterious collection of completely useless objects you refuse to throw away

The server does not assign purposes to individual vaults, so how you organise them is entirely up to you.

***

### Remembering Your Vaults

Vaults are accessed by number rather than by custom names.

If you have several of them, it can be useful to keep a consistent system so you remember where everything is stored.

You can reopen the same vault at any time using:

`/pv <number>`

***

### Gaining More Vaults

As you progress through Vote Ranks or upgrade to a higher Paid Rank, additional vault numbers become available.

For example:

**Bronze**

`/pv 1`

**Alloy**

`/pv 1` to `/pv 2`

**Paragon**

`/pv 1` to `/pv 5`

**Relic**

`/pv 1` to `/pv 10`

**Ascendant**

`/pv 1` to `/pv 20`

Gaining access to more vaults does not replace your existing ones. It simply unlocks additional numbered storage inventories.

***

### Vaults Are Personal Storage

Your PlayerVaults are intended as private personal storage.

They are separate from:

* Chests and barrels
* Ender Chests
* Shulker Boxes
* Claimed storage
* Other players' PlayerVaults

Think of them as additional storage inventories attached directly to your player account.

### Quick Command Guide

| Command        | What It Does                            |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| `/pv <number>` | Open one of your available PlayerVaults |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** If `/pv <number>` tells you that you cannot access that vault, the number is most likely above the amount provided by your current ranks.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Final reminder:** PlayerVaults provide personal numbered storage through Vote Ranks and Paid Ranks. If you have both, your highest vault allowance applies rather than the two amounts being added together.
