# ✦ ── Commands & Glossary

PyroFishing has a lot of different systems, but you don't need to memorise every command.

Most features can be accessed through:

`/fish menu`

This page acts as a quick reference for the main player commands and common PyroFishing terms used throughout the wiki.

### Delivery Commands

Most Delivery management can be done through:

`/fish deliveries`

There is also:

`/fish removedelivery <slot>`

This removes an unwanted normal Delivery from the selected Delivery slot.

**Important:** Mythical Deliveries cannot be removed.

## Glossary

### Augment

A permanent upgrade that can be applied to a fishing rod.

Augments can provide effects such as additional catches, more Entropy, increased Fishing XP, better Scale odds and improved rarity chances.

See **Augments** for the full guide.

### Base Entropy

The normal amount of Entropy a fish provides before additional bonuses or multipliers are applied.

This is particularly important during the **Most Base Entropy Earned** Tournament.

### Bronze

The lowest and most common custom fish rarity.

Coppercore's rarity order begins:

**Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Platinum → Mythical**

### Combo

A chain of consecutive catches created by the **Combo Catcher** Fishing Skill.

Keeping the Combo going improves your chance of catching higher-rarity fish.

The Combo resets if you go too long without catching anything.

### Crab

A hostile creature that can occasionally be hooked while fishing.

Crabs can drop special materials such as:

* Crab Claws
* Crab Scales

These materials are used in several advanced PyroFishing recipes.

### Custom Fish

Fish added through PyroFishing rather than normal vanilla Minecraft fish.

Coppercore currently has **126 custom fish** across six rarity tiers.

### Delivery

A fishing task earned after catching enough custom fish.

Deliveries ask for specific fish, consume them when started and provide rewards after a timer finishes.

### Entropy

PyroFishing's main progression resource.

Entropy is used for things such as:

* Augment crafting
* Delivery upgrades
* Fishing Totem upgrades
* Fishing Skill resets
* Other advanced fishing features

It is separate from both normal server money and Copper Coins.

### Entropy Crystal

A physical item containing:

**10,000 Entropy**

Entropy Crystals can be traded between players and redeemed by right-clicking them.

### Fish Bag

A specialised PyroFishing storage system for custom fish.

Open it using:

`/fish bag`

### Fish Codex

Your collection record of custom fish you've discovered.

Open it using:

`/fish codex`

The Codex is particularly useful when hunting for fish you haven't caught before.

### Fish Shop

The PyroFishing shop used to sell custom fish for normal server money.

Open it using:

`/fish shop`

### Fishing Level

Your PyroFishing progression level.

Fishing Level is completely separate from your normal Minecraft XP level.

It increases by earning **Fishing XP** from custom catches and is used to unlock Skills, Augments and other advanced features.

### Fishing XP

Experience used specifically to increase your **Fishing Level**.

This is not the same as vanilla Minecraft XP.

### Gutting

The process of destroying a custom fish in exchange for Entropy.

Open the Gutting Station using:

`/fish gut`

Once gutted, the fish is permanently consumed.

### Mythical

The highest custom fish rarity available on Coppercore.

Mythical fish are extremely rare and provide large amounts of Fishing XP and Entropy.

### Party Fishing

A system that rewards players for fishing near one another.

On Coppercore, Party Fishing detects nearby fishers within **40 blocks**, with the full group bonus reached with up to **5 participating players**.

### Passive

A special ability used by a Fishing Totem.

Totem Passives only work while the Totem is active and require a certain number of Passive Slots.

### Passive Slot

The capacity used to activate Fishing Totem Passives.

Different Passives use different numbers of slots.

Additional Passive Slots can be unlocked using high-rarity fish.

### Platinum

The second-highest custom fish rarity.

Platinum fish are valuable catches and are also used in parts of Fishing Totem progression.

### Rarity

The tier assigned to a custom fish.

Coppercore uses six rarities:

1. Bronze
2. Silver
3. Gold
4. Diamond
5. Platinum
6. Mythical

Higher rarity generally means the fish is harder to catch and more valuable.

### Scales

A system that allows you to gamble with a fish's value.

Open it using:

`/fish scales`

Scaling can increase or decrease the value of the fish depending on the result and selected risk level.

### Skill Point

A point earned through Fishing Level progression.

Skill Points can be spent in:

`/fish skills`

Some Skills can be upgraded repeatedly, while others only need to be unlocked once.

### Special Fish

A temporarily boosted custom fish.

The current Special Fish receives:

**1.5x sell value**

and changes every **6 hours**.

### Tournament

An automatic server-wide fishing competition.

Coppercore Fishing Tournaments run every **4 hours**, last **15 minutes** and require at least **4 players online**.

Use:

`/ft time`

to check when the next one begins.

### Totem

A physical multiblock structure used for advanced fishing bonuses.

Fishing Totems can be upgraded with Entropy and equipped with Passives.

They unlock from **Fishing Level 20**.

### Vanilla XP

Normal Minecraft experience used for enchanting, repairing and other vanilla mechanics.

This is different from **Fishing XP**, which only affects your PyroFishing Fishing Level.

**Final reminder:** You don't need to memorise any of this. If you forget what something means, come back here - and if you forget where something is, `/fish menu` is usually the best place to start.
