# ✦ ── mcMMO Credits

**mcMMO Credits** provide another way to increase your mcMMO skills.

Instead of earning XP through normal gameplay, Credits can be directly redeemed into a skill of your choice.

On Coppercore:

**1 mcMMO Credit = 1 Skill Level**

Credits are separate from:

* mcMMO XP
* mcMMO XP Boosts
* Copper Coins
* Power Level

***

### Redeeming Credits

Use:

`/mr`

to open the mcMMO Credits menu.

The menu displays your current Credit balance alongside the mcMMO skills available for redemption.

Select a skill, then enter the number of Credits you want to apply.

For example:

If you have:

* Mining Level 350
* 20 mcMMO Credits

and redeem all 20 Credits into Mining, you will become:

**Mining Level 370**

The Credits are consumed when successfully applied.

***

#### Direct Redemption

You can also skip the menu and redeem Credits directly with:

`/mr <skill> <amount>`

For example:

`/mr mining 20`

would redeem 20 Credits into Mining.

***

### Level Redemption

Coppercore's mcMMO Credits increase **levels directly** rather than adding a fixed amount of XP.

This means:

| Credits Redeemed | Levels Gained |
| ---------------- | ------------- |
| 1                | +1 Level      |
| 5                | +5 Levels     |
| 10               | +10 Levels    |
| 50               | +50 Levels    |
| 100              | +100 Levels   |

The amount does not change depending on how high the skill already is.

A Credit redeemed at level 50 still gives one level, and a Credit redeemed at level 1,000 still gives one level.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Coppercore currently has no configured mcMMO skill level caps, so Credits can continue being redeemed beyond level 1,000.
{% endhint %}

### Supported Skills

Credits can currently be redeemed into these **16 mcMMO skills**:

#### Gathering

* Mining
* Woodcutting
* Excavation
* Herbalism

#### Melee Combat

* Swords
* Axes
* Maces
* Unarmed

#### Ranged & Companion

* Archery
* Crossbows
* Tridents
* Taming

#### Utility

* Acrobatics
* Alchemy
* Fishing

#### Crafting

* Repair

None of these supported skills are currently disabled from Credit redemption.

***

### Skills That Cannot Use Credits

The following mcMMO skills cannot currently receive Credits:

* **Spears**
* **Salvage**
* **Smelting**

#### Spears

Spears is enabled as an mcMMO skill on Coppercore, but it is not currently supported by the MorphRedeem menu or redemption system.

Spears must therefore be levelled normally through mcMMO XP.

#### Salvage & Smelting

Salvage and Smelting are **child skills**, so they do not have independent XP progression.

Their levels are calculated from their parent skills:

`Salvage = (Repair + Fishing) ÷ 2`

`Smelting = (Mining + Repair) ÷ 2`

You therefore improve them indirectly by applying Credits to their parent skills.

For example, applying Credits to both Repair and Fishing can increase your Salvage level.

### Checking Your Credits

Use:

`/mr credits`

to view your current mcMMO Credit balance.

The `/mr` menu also displays:

* Your available Credits
* Your total Credits spent
* Your current skill levels
* Your current skill XP

This makes it easy to check your progression before deciding where to spend them.

***

### Sending Credits

mcMMO Credits can be sent directly to another player.

Use:

`/mr send <player> <amount>`

For example:

`/mr send Steve 10`

sends 10 of your mcMMO Credits to Steve.

The Credits are removed from your balance and added to theirs.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** Double-check the player name and amount before sending Credits.
{% endhint %}

### Credits vs XP Boosts

mcMMO Credits and XP Boosts both help progression, but work very differently.

| **mcMMO Credits**                        | **XP Boosts**                       |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Directly add skill levels | Multiply XP earned through gameplay |
| Spent on a chosen supported skill | Apply across mcMMO skills |
| No timer                                 | Temporary                           |
| Do not require grinding after redemption | Require you to actively earn XP |
| 1 Credit = 1 Level                       | Available as 2x or 3x XP            |

Credits are useful when you want guaranteed progress in a particular skill.

XP Boosts are generally most useful when you're planning to spend time actively training several skills.

***

### Power Level

Levels gained through mcMMO Credits count as normal mcMMO skill levels.

This means redeeming Credits into a normal skill also increases your **Power Level**.

For example:

If you redeem:

* 10 Credits into Mining
* 15 Credits into Swords
* 5 Credits into Alchemy

you gain:

**30 total Power Levels**

Salvage and Smelting do not independently contribute additional Power Levels because they are child skills.

***

### Choosing Where to Spend Credits

There is no single correct skill to spend Credits on.

You might use them to:

* Reach an upcoming ability unlock
* Improve a skill that is slower for you to train
* Reach the next Sub-Skill rank
* Increase a parent skill to improve Salvage or Smelting
* Push a favourite skill further beyond level 1,000

Before spending a large number of Credits, check the relevant skill guide to see which abilities or ranks are coming up next.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Final reminder:** mcMMO Credits directly add levels to supported skills at a rate of 1 Credit per level. Use `/mr` to redeem them, `/mr credits` to check your balance, or `/mr send` to give Credits to another player.
