# ✦ ── Jobs

Coppercore uses **Jobs Reborn** to let players earn money and job experience while doing normal survival activities.

Jobs reward you for things you were probably going to do anyway — whether that’s mining underground, building a base, farming crops, exploring the world, or fighting mobs.

***

Coppercore currently has **seven jobs** available:

* **Builder**
* **Digger**
* **Explorer**
* **Farmer**
* **Hunter**
* **Miner**
* **Woodcutter**

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Different actions and materials can give different rewards. Use `/jobs info <job>` to check what counts for your chosen job.
{% endhint %}

***

### Browsing Available Jobs

Use:

`/jobs browse`

This opens the Jobs browser and displays the professions available to you.

Select a job to view more information about it before joining.

You can also view information about a specific job using:

`/jobs info <job>`

Example:

`/jobs info Miner`

This displays information about that profession, including the activities associated with it.

***

#### Joining a Job

Use:

`/jobs join <job>`

Example:

`/jobs join Miner`

Once joined, you will automatically begin earning rewards when you perform qualifying actions for that profession.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** New players can have up to 2 jobs active at once. Vote Ranks and Paid Ranks unlock additional job slots.
{% endhint %}

### Available Jobs

#### Builder

The **Builder** job rewards building-related activity.

This is a good choice for players who spend a lot of time constructing bases, towns, shops, decorative builds, or other structures.

Use:

`/jobs info Builder`

to see which blocks and actions currently give rewards.

***

#### Digger

The **Digger** job focuses on excavation and digging.

This is useful for players who regularly clear terrain, gather dirt, sand, gravel, clay, and similar materials, or work on large landscaping projects.

Use:

`/jobs info Digger`

to view its current rewards.

***

#### Explorer

The **Explorer** job rewards players for travelling and discovering the world.

This is a good choice if you spend a lot of time searching for biomes, structures, resources, or simply travelling across the map.

Use:

`/jobs info Explorer`

to view the activities associated with this job.

***

#### Farmer

The **Farmer** job focuses on farming-related activities.

This may include harvesting crops, replanting, tending animals, and other agricultural work depending on the current server configuration.

Use:

`/jobs info Farmer`

to see exactly what currently gives rewards.

***

#### Hunter

The **Hunter** job focuses on combat.

Players who regularly fight hostile mobs may find this job especially useful.

Use:

`/jobs info Hunter`

to see which mobs and actions currently provide rewards.

***

#### Miner

The **Miner** job focuses on underground resources and mining.

This is suited to players who regularly gather ores, stone, and other materials while mining.

Use:

`/jobs info Miner`

to view the current reward list.

***

#### Woodcutter

The **Woodcutter** job focuses on trees and wood gathering.

This is a good choice for players who regularly cut down trees or gather large amounts of wood for building.

Use:

`/jobs info Woodcutter`

to view its current rewards.

***

### Checking What Gives Rewards

Use:

`/jobs info <job>`

Example:

`/jobs info Farmer`

This displays information about the selected job.

Jobs may reward different types of actions, including activities such as breaking, placing, killing, and other configured actions. Jobs Reborn allows each profession and its rewards to be configured individually.

You can also request information for a particular action type.

Example:

`/jobs info Builder place`

This displays information relating specifically to placing blocks for that job.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** The in-game Jobs information should always be treated as the most accurate source for current payouts, as job rewards may be adjusted over time for balancing.
{% endhint %}

***

### Job Levels and Experience

Working in a job gives you **Job Experience**.

As you earn experience, your level in that profession increases. Jobs Reborn tracks profession levels separately, so you can progress through each job you join.

Use:

`/jobs stats`

This displays your current job statistics and progress.

Your different jobs may be at completely different levels depending on how much you use them.

***

### Leaving a Job

To leave a specific job, use:

`/jobs leave <job>`

Example:

`/jobs leave Builder`

This removes you from that profession.

To leave all of your current jobs, use:

`/jobs leaveall`

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Your job progress is saved when you leave a job. If you rejoin it later, you can continue from where you left off.
{% endhint %}

***

### Jobs Leaderboard

Use:

`/jobs top`

This displays the global Jobs leaderboard.

You can use this to compare your Jobs progress with other players on the server.

***

### Job Notifications

Jobs may display information through chat, the action bar, or a boss bar while you earn rewards.

If you want to change which of these notifications you see, use:

`/jobs toggle bossbar`

`/jobs toggle actionbar`

`/jobs toggle chattext`

These commands toggle the selected Jobs notification type.
