# ✦ ── Copper Coins

**Copper Coins** are Coppercore's special server currency.

Unlike regular money, Copper Coins are used for additional rewards and bonuses through the **Coin Shop**. They cannot be bought with real money and are instead earned by taking part in the server.

Your current Copper Coin balance can always be seen on the **scoreboard at the side of your screen**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Copper Coins are tied to your account and cannot be given, traded or transferred to other players.
{% endhint %}

### Earning Copper Coins

There are several ways to earn Copper Coins while playing on Coppercore.

#### Voting

Voting is the most reliable way to earn Copper Coins.

Each successful vote rewards:

**50 Copper Coins**

There are **5 voting sites available each day**, meaning you can earn up to:

**250 Copper Coins per day**

just by completing all of your daily votes.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Voting every day is one of the easiest ways to steadily build up your Copper Coin balance.
{% endhint %}

#### Events & Giveaways

Copper Coins may also be given out as rewards during:

* Server events
* Community competitions
* Giveaways
* Special occasions

The amount available will depend on the event or giveaway.

#### Crates

Some crates may contain Copper Coins as one of their possible rewards.

Not every crate will necessarily offer them, so check the available rewards before using your keys.

#### Quests

Certain quests may occasionally reward Copper Coins.

These are intended to be more uncommon rewards rather than something offered by every quest.

### The Coin Shop

Copper Coins can be spent through Coppercore's custom Coin Shop.

Open it using:

`/coinshop`

The Coin Shop contains a selection of useful rewards and extras, including things such as:

* Crate keys
* mcMMO boosts
* Claim Blocks
* Cosmetics
* Other special extras

The selection may change or expand over time as new rewards are added.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Because the shop can change over time, `/coinshop` will always show the current selection and prices.
{% endhint %}

### Buying Items

Once you have enough Copper Coins, simply open:

`/coinshop`

and select the reward you want to purchase.

The required number of Copper Coins will be deducted from your balance automatically.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** **All Coin Shop purchases are final.**

Make sure you've selected the correct item and checked its cost before confirming your purchase. Accidental purchases will not normally be refunded.
{% endhint %}

### Can Copper Coins Be Purchased?

**No.**

Copper Coins cannot be bought from the Coppercore store or purchased using real money.

They are earned through playing and participating in the server, including voting, events, giveaways and other server activities.

This means everything available through the Coin Shop can be earned without spending real money.

***

### Can I Give Coins to Another Player?

No.

Copper Coins are linked directly to the player who earned them and cannot be:

* Sent to another player
* Traded
* Sold
* Withdrawn
* Transferred between accounts

If you want something from the Coin Shop, you'll need to earn the required Copper Coins yourself.

### Checking Your Balance

Your current Copper Coin balance is displayed directly on the **sidebar scoreboard** while playing.

There is no separate command required to check it.
