# ✦ ── Auction House

Unlike Chest Shops, Auction House listings can be accessed from anywhere and do not require a container or player warp.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Auction House listings must still follow Coppercore's economy and server rules. Do not use misleading listings, exploits, or intentionally deceptive prices to trick other players.
{% endhint %}

### Browsing the Auction House

Use:

`/ah`

This opens the Auction House menu and displays items currently listed by other players.

Select an item to view its listing information before purchasing.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Always check the item, quantity, enchantments, name, lore, and price before confirming a purchase.
{% endhint %}

***

### Selling an Item

Hold the item you want to sell in your hand and use:

`/ah sell <price>`

Example:

`/ah sell 500`

This lists the held item for **$500**.

If you are holding a stack, the listing applies to the quantity being listed, so make sure you check the item amount before confirming it.

Once listed, the item is removed from your inventory and appears in the Auction House for other players to purchase.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** The price you enter is the price for the **entire listing**, not necessarily the price of one individual item in the stack.
{% endhint %}

***

### Buying an Item

Open:

`/ah`

Find the item you want to purchase and select it.

Check the item's details and price carefully before confirming the transaction.

When a listing is purchased:

* the buyer pays the listed price
* the item is transferred to the buyer
* the seller receives the money

Coppercore does **not charge Auction House tax**, so normal Auction House sales are not reduced by an additional transaction fee.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Purchases are player-to-player transactions. Check listings carefully before buying.
{% endhint %}

### Expired or Cancelled Listings

Listings do not remain active forever.

If an item expires or an auction is cancelled without completing, the item can be returned through the Auction House's expired-items system rather than simply being lost.

To find your expired items, open the Auction House menu and click the poisonous potato.

### Pricing Items

Players are free to choose their own prices, but deliberately misleading listings are not allowed.

Before listing something, consider:

* how difficult the item is to obtain
* how commonly other players sell it
* the quantity being sold
* enchantments or custom properties
* current demand

Very high or very low prices are not automatically against the rules, but listings designed specifically to deceive players may be removed.

### Command Reference

| Command            | Purpose                                      |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------- |
| `/ah`              | Open the Auction House                       |
| `/ah sell <price>` | List the item in your hand for a fixed price |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Final reminder:** Always double-check the item, quantity, and price before buying or selling. Auction House transactions are part of Coppercore's player economy and must follow the same economy and conduct rules as any other player trade.
{% endhint %}
