# ✦ ── Economy & Trading

Coppercore’s economy is designed to be primarily player-driven.

Players can earn money through jobs, quests, fishing, voting, events, and other server activities, then use it to trade with one another, run shops, buy useful items, and build up their own businesses.

This section explains the main systems used to earn, spend, and trade currency on the server.

***

### What This Section Covers

***

#### Jobs

Join a job and earn money by completing activities connected to that role.

Available jobs include:

* Builder
* Digger
* Explorer
* Farmer
* Hunter
* Miner
* Woodcutter

Each job has its own actions, progression, and rewards.

***

#### Chest Shops

Create your own player shop using a chest and sell items directly to other players.

This guide covers:

* creating a shop
* setting prices
* switching between buying and selling
* managing stock
* adding trusted staff
* finding shops selling a specific item
* removing or updating a shop

***

#### Auction House

Use the Auction House to list items for sale without needing a physical shop.

Players can browse listings, purchase items, and sell their own items through the auction menu.

***

#### Server Shop

The server shop provides access to useful and difficult-to-find items.

It is mainly intended as a backup or convenience option rather than a replacement for player trading, and many items may only be available to buy rather than sell.

***

#### Player Warps

Create and manage public destinations for shops, towns, attractions, farms, and other player-made locations.

Player warps make it easier for others to visit your builds and businesses.

***

#### Copper Coins

Copper Coins are a separate reward currency used for certain progression systems, rewards, purchases, and special features.

They are separate from your normal money balance and may be earned through activities such as voting, quests, events, and other server systems.

***

### A Player-Focused Economy

Coppercore encourages players to trade with one another rather than relying entirely on the server shop.

You can:

* open a physical shop
* sell through the Auction House
* advertise a player warp
* offer goods or services
* buy from other players
* take part in jobs and progression systems
* save up for larger purchases

Prices are decided by players, so supply and demand may change over time.

***

### Trading Safely

Always check prices, quantities, and item details before confirming a purchase.

Do not:

* scam or deliberately mislead another player
* rename items to impersonate valuable or custom items
* abuse pricing mistakes or shop exploits
* pressure players into trades
* use alternate accounts to manipulate rewards or progression
* attempt to reverse a completed trade through deception

Staff may investigate deliberate scams or exploits, but players are still expected to check what they are buying.
