# ✦ ── Claim Flags

Claim flags can change features such as mob spawning, explosions, crop trampling, visual weather, claim entry, and other behaviour within a protected area.

Not every flag is available to every player. `NoEnterPlayer` is available to all players by default, while additional Claim Flags are unlocked through the Mythic and Ascendant Paid Ranks.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Claim flags only affect claims you own unless stated otherwise. They cannot be used to bypass server rules, interfere with nearby players, or create unsafe public areas.
{% endhint %}

***

### Viewing Your Available Flags

Use:

`/allflags`

This displays every claim flag that your current rank has permission to use.

As you unlock higher ranks, additional flags may appear in this list.

Use:

`/gpflags help`

This displays the GPFlags commands currently available to you.

***

### Setting a Claim Flag

Stand inside a claim that you own and use:

`/setclaimflag <flag> [value]`

Some flags only need the flag name:

`/setclaimflag NoCropTrampling`

Other flags require an additional value:

`/setclaimflag PlayerTime day`

The required value depends on the selected flag.

Flags are not case-sensitive, but using the spelling shown in `/allflags` is recommended.

***

### Removing a Claim Flag

Stand inside the claim and use:

`/unsetclaimflag <flag>`

Example:

`/unsetclaimflag NoCropTrampling`

This removes the custom setting from that claim and returns it to the server’s normal behaviour.

***

### Viewing Active Flags

Use:

`/listclaimflags`

This shows the flags currently active at your location.

Stand inside your claim before running the command to check which custom settings you have applied.

***

### Where Flags Apply

A flag normally affects only the claim in which it was set.

If a claim contains subdivisions, flags may behave differently depending on whether they were applied to:

* the main claim
* an individual subdivision
* a subdivision with inherited permissions
* a restricted subdivision

Stand inside the exact claim or subdivision you want to configure before using a flag command.

***

### Who Can Change Flags?

The claim owner can configure flags they have unlocked.

Giving another player normal build, container, access, or permission trust does not necessarily grant them access to every claim flag.

***

### Claim Flag Rank Access

The Claim Flags available to you depend on your server rank.

Higher Paid Ranks include the Claim Flags unlocked by the ranks below them.

#### All Players

Every player has access to:

* `NoEnterPlayer`

This allows you to prevent a specific player from entering a claim you own.

This flag is available by default so claim owners can restrict individual players from their land when necessary.

It must not be used to harass players, block legitimate access, or otherwise bypass Coppercore's rules.

#### Mythic

Mythic unlocks:

* `NoMobSpawns`
* `NoMonsterSpawns`
* `NoMonsters`
* `NoEnter`
* `NotifyEnter`
* `NotifyExit`
* `EnterMessage`
* `ExitMessage`

These are primarily focused on mob control, claim access and entry/exit customisation.

#### Ascendant

Ascendant includes all Mythic Claim Flags and additionally unlocks:

* `NoCropTrampling`
* `NoPlayerCropTrampling`
* `NoGrowth`
* `NoStructureGrowth`
* `NoVineGrowth`
* `NoLeafDecay`
* `NoFluidFlow`
* `NoBlockFade`
* `NoCoralDecay`
* `NoIceForm`
* `NoSnowForm`
* `NoEnderPearl`
* `NoChorusFruit`
* `NoVehicle`
* `ReadLecterns`
* `AllowVillagerTrading`

Ascendant therefore has access to the full selection of player-available Claim Flags.

***

`/setclaimflag NotifyEnter`

`/setclaimflag NotifyExit`

{% hint style="warning" %}
These may become noisy in busy shops, public warps, or community claims.
{% endhint %}

Example:

`/setclaimflag EnterMessage Welcome to my shop!`

#### ExitMessage

`/setclaimflag ExitMessage <message>`

Example:

`/setclaimflag ExitMessage Thanks for visiting!`

Messages must follow Coppercore’s chat and content rules.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Do not use misleading messages, fake staff notices, excessive formatting, advertisements for outside communities, or inappropriate content.
{% endhint %}
